CAMPUS FOOD SECURITY SUMMIT 2026

Building Food-Secure Universities in Uganda

  • 21 October 2026 · 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Kampala International University, Main Campus, Kansanga
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided to confirmed participants.

Food insecurity is a reality for many university students, yet it remains one of the least discussed challenges affecting student life and success.

The Campus Food Security Summit 2026 brings students, university leaders, government, researchers, civil society and partners together to hear student voices, examine evidence and identify practical action towards food-secure universities.

What does a food-secure university look like, and what will it take to build one?
